romance is in the air

romantic?  yes!  with elements of floral print, sparkles, soft hues, and feminine details, this look certainly expresses a romantic air.  the blazer with its fashion forward floral print atop a simple crochet blouse pops when paired with the mint hue of the scalloped shorts.  add a pair of open-toe, glitter-finish booties with a chain strap bag to match and we are ready for a romantic, candlelit dinner.  with hair in a simple side braid, the look remains effortless.  might i add, that it is better to wear your bouquet, rather than leaving it at home in a vase.  i can’t wait to transition this blazer into fall.

this outfit is particularly trendy and daring.  i’ve seen this look on several celebrities lately and i thought it was so unique, i wanted to try it myself!  the high-waisted skirt sits just below the cropped top keeping the look contemporary and youthful.  while some skin shows, the longer length of the skirt keeps the look sophisticated.  the tropical and tribal prints are some of my favorites seen on S/S 2012 runways.  the green in the top is just enough to coordinate with the green print of the skirt. the tribal necklace is also in keeping with the tribal print top and the cobalt blue straw clutch is the perfect finishing touch.   While this look isn’t meant for a museum visit or theatre show, it is ideal for a summer dinner to a trendy restaurant.  i wore this look to an amazing Japanese restaurant, Nobu, in Dallas.  it was an amazing, and unique culinary experience.  the Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno was extraordinary!  if you are in Dallas and love sushi, head to Nobu!
