blazer <h&m>, top <fei>, skirt <vintage>, booties <topshop>, necklace <from blue seven>

these are my new favorite pair of booties.  their tapestry embroidered print is unique and draws so many compliments.  they are versatile and can be dressed up or down.  they are comfortable to boot!  i bought this leather skirt at a consignment store with a redline price of $4.  it was below-the-knee in length and looked pretty frumpy.  i deconstructed the skirt, shortened it and came up with this far cuter, up-to-date version.  i struggled to find shoes to complement the skirt.  leather shoes wouldn’t quite work (too much leather).  these booties are perfect!  to top off the look, the cobalt blue blazer adds a pop of color; blue and tan make a perfect pair anyway.  for winter, tights and a fur jacket will work well with this leather skirt.  can’t wait to wear this thrifty thrill again.  talk about a good investment!
