perfect pailletes

blouse <j.crew>, top <bayla jane>, skirt <tibi>, heels <delman>, clutch <vintage>, necklace <anthropologie>, watch <michael kors>

i really love the mixture of leather and sequin pailletes on this skirt.  this skirt is fall and winter friendly, but i’m not afraid to try it in the summer with strappy heels.  here, having a blouse layered under the top is a bit unexpected, but that’s why i like it.  take note, buttoning blouses up to the collar is a huge new trend.  i think it leaves a little bit more to the imagination:).  adding a necklace to a high collar, adds a little more depth and keeps you from looking or feeling too uptight!  anyhow, back to the skirt, i just can’t get enough of these perfect pailletes.

tank <ann taylor loft>, blouse <fei>, shorts <adriano goldschmied>, shoes <antik batik>, wristlet clutch <ann taylor>, bracelets <variety, click here for details>

these are absolutely my favorite pair of sandals.  they are worn best with deconstructed jean shorts.  composed of flashy mosaic mirrors, the sandals complement the super casual shorts.  here, i love how my sandals mirror the colorful and artistic surroundings.  sometimes just wearing a sleeveless top feels a little too “undone.”  i prefer to dress-up the look with a floral, silk button up, tied at the waist.  to make it ultimately casual, i stacked all my favorite “friendship” bracelets.  they add color, quirk and a little extra depth to my park perfect look!

top <fei>, sweater <willow and clay>, shorts <jcrew>, booties <chloe>, bag <antik batik>, jewelry <antique and gifted>

shorts coupled with booties is probably one of my favorite combinations. luckily a “cold” front came through okc:), so i was able to wear these wonderful booties without much of a sweat.  these chloe booties are soft as can be and fit like a glove.  the chunky heel gives just enough support making these heels incredibly comfortable! as with any closet, the ability to remix pieces is a reflection of one’s style and it’s pretty much necessary to remix your daily looks (unless you have the means to shop continuously).  this sweater can be thrown over almost anything (maxi dresses, tanks, long sleeved tops). see how i wore it last here.  with it’s versatility and shiny, metallic fabric (a major fall 2012 trend), this sweater will make an easy transition to fall.
