i’m crazy about dressy shorts!  i used to be a little timid about wearing heels with shorts (i still am a bit), but here wedges make the look a little more casual.  since these shorts are pretty short, i wore them with a fuller top.  you will usually find me with a statement necklace and i adore this necklace.  it goes with just about everything.  happy endings!

this season was all about peplums.  my guess is that it won’t be as big next year, so if you like the look, wear it now!  i couldn’t help myself when i found these vintage emilio pucci heels.  i’m sure they are from the 1990s which is pretty fabulous:) the complexity of the peplum pairs well with the simplicity of the slip-on mules.  hello pretty peplum!

happy fourth!  i really wanted to find all-american made clothing, but i ran into trouble finding shoes made in the usa.  i looked at keds and toms, only to find out they are imports.  so i gave up on that idea.  i found vintage levi strauss jeans at a consignment store only to cut and distress  them.  i really adore the 4 button fly and high waisted look giving them that nice vintage feel.  you can buy similar shorts here, or make your own distressed shorts for about $10.  here, the layered vintage necklaces juxtaposes the distressed denim.  on top, i layered an alternative apparel crop top over an h&m top.  with ray-bans on hand, i feel like an american girl! have a happy fourth of july!!
