one of the best discoveries i’ve made since moving, is that most cities of relatively large size have an avid arts scene. at the oklahoma city museum of art, thursdays in the summer mean “cocktails on the skyline.” one can enjoy museum exhibits, a drink {or two}, vast views from the 5th floor patio, and marvelous music…all at an affordable price. with dale chihuly masterpieces (as seen in the photos above), it’s surely a treat, whether it’s your first visit or your 45th:) for this cool may evening, i wore a tulip skirt, paired with a soft, subdued see-through top. the wedges completed my look, giving it the sophistication “a night at the museum” requires. i thought the wedges paired quite nicely with the chihuly masterpiece pictured in the museum lobby. don’t you?
Wow, I LOVE your necklace, it co-ordinates with your shirt so well 🙂
thank you!! i get lots of compliments when i wear it out…it’s still in stores:)
You definitely have a lot of style. Yes, you do make a perfect match with Chihuly. Here in Seattle, we have many opportunities to see his work: the Museum of Glass in nearby Tacoma, his home town; and the brand new Chihuly permanent exhibit at the Seattle Center. Your post has inspired me to do a post about the artist.
I’m so glad this post was inspirational! I’ll look for your post on Chihuly. His work is breathtaking. Thank you for your feedback….very much appreciated!
